Mary Josephine Famiglietti March 23, 1923 – February 26, 2019 Share this obituary View/Sign Guest Book WOLCOTT MARY JOSEPHINE FAMIGLIETTI “Loving step mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt ” Mary Josephine Famiglietti, age 95 Wolcott passed away peacefully February 26, 2019 at Mulberry Gardens in Plantsville. She was the widow George Vanyo and Richard Michael Famiglietti. Mary was born March 23, 1923 in Hartford, a daughter of the late Christy Joseph and Mary (Roiduka) Wonsewicz.

She was educated in Hartford schools. Prior to her retirement 1980, Mary was employed as a vice president at the former Colonial Bank in Waterbury. She leaves her stepchildren Kathleen Wilson and her husband Gerald of Wolcott, Richard M. Famiglietti Jr. and his wife Connie of The Villages, Florida, a sister Florence Poznanski of Plantsville, a brother-in-law Al Noren of Atlanta, her grandchildren US Army Colonel Robert L. Wilson (Ret.

) and his wife Lisa of Woodbury, Len Wilson and his wife Maureen of Wolcott, Gina Smedley and her husband Andrew of NJ. , Michael Famiglietti and his wife Tegan of Southbury, her great-grand children Thomas, Mitchell, Samantha, Natalie, Riley and Aubrey Wilson, Ryan and Logan Smedley and Declan and Gavin Famiglietti and a niece Janet Poznansky Hedley of New Haven. She was predeceased by a sister Irene Noren and a brother-in-law Henry Poznanski.

Arrangements: Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of Mary’s family. There are no calling hours. Chase Parkway Memorial / Albini family Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.
