Obituary for Mary Judith Custenborder Mary Judith Custenborder, 82, Topeka, Kansas, passed away November 6, 2018. Mary was born on September 1, 1936, in Topeka, the daughter of Milton and Pauline Reeb Slaybaugh. She graduated from Hayden Catholic High School in 1954.

Mary was married to Ed Custenborder. Mary and Ed were the owners of Ed’s Florist Shop in North Topeka. Mary was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her husband, Ed; children, Mike Custenborder (Denise), Carla Little (Wes), Paula Arnold and Steve Custenborder (Jonelle); eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Milton Slaybaugh, Jr. and John Slaybaugh. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren and brother, Jerry Slaybaugh. Mary’s wishes were to be cremated with no services.
