Obituary for Mary Katherine Hoganson January 7, 2019 Calumet Mary (Medved) Hoganson, 92, a resident of Temple Street in Calumet passed away at her home on Monday evening January 7, 2019. She was born on August 30, 1926 in Calumet, a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Zunich) Medved. She graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1944.

On October 27, 1945 she was united in marriage to Donald G. Hoganson and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2005. Mary worked as a microfilm developer for many years. Preceding her in death was her husband, Donald, infant daughter Sandy Hoganson, her parents Michael and Margaret Medved, 3 brothers, Michael, John, and Joe, and 2 sisters, Margaret Washburn and Anne Hill.

Mary was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet. Per Mary’s request cremation has taken place, and private services will be held at a future date. The family would like to thank Dr. Dawn Lee, Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital, Aspirus Hospice nurses and nurses aides for the care they gave Mary.
