Mary L. O’Bradovich Worry, 98, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp. , passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Holy Family Manor, Pittsburgh. Born November 11, 1920 in N. Huntingdon, PA she was the daughter of the late Louis and Susie Pekar O’Bradovich.

A resident of Belle Vernon for over 70 years, Mrs. Worry was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon and the former Holy Spirit RC Church, Fayette City. Mrs. Worry was retired from BVA School District, where she worked as a Custodian. Mary was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan, enjoyed baking, knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by, daughter & son in law Sharon & Sam McCalmont of Sewickley, son & daughter in law Vic & Kathy Worry of Royersford, PA; grandchildren Michael L. Worry, Meredith Victoria McCalmont; two sisters in law Helen Worry of Perryopolis, Sara Worry of Belle Vernon and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor Worry (2006); brothers Fred ‘Fritz’ , Eli, Nick O’Bradovich, an infant brother Louis O’Bradovich; sisters Mildred Knezevich, Sarah Biegenwald, Angelina Bell, Louise Krivi and Sophie O’Bradovich. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Elmer Alforque as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Mary Worry Friday at 3 pm in the funeral home. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mary L. Worry to Holy Family Manor 301 Bellevue Rd. , Pittsburgh, PA, 15229, Gateway Hospice, or St. Sebastian Church.

The family wishes to thank Holy Family Manor and Gateway Hospice for their loving care and support given to our mother.
