Mary L. Baker, 76, of Lake Geneva died unexpectedly at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital on Saturday may 18,2019. Born Mary Lila Scanlon to the late Earl and Edna Scanlon in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 24th, 1942. Mary was a graduate of the class of 1960 from West Allis Central High School.

On December 30, 1961 at St. Peters Church in West Allis Mary was united into marriage to her soul mate, Carson Baker. Mary was a founding member of the Ukulele Club. Mary was a volunteer at the Guest House, a member of the Prayer Group of Bennett Lake and would volunteer at local nursing homes to help with Bingo.

Mary is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carson Baker. 3 children survive Mary: Shelly (Curt) Roeker of Walworth, Daniel J. Baker of Walworth, and Kathleen (Lionel) Colon of Waukesha. 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren all survive Mary.

Mary is also survived by her closest and dearest friend Edna Gauger. Mary was proceeded in death by her son, Kevin Baker on the 8th of May, 2005. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at JoJo’s Pizza in Delavan, Wisconsin.
