Mary Lou Bernhard April 13, 1936 – January 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mary Lou Bernhard, 83, of Woodpile Drive in Westline, died early Sunday morning, January 20, 2019 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center. Born April 13, 1936 in Kellettville, she was the daughter of Merwin and Mildred Rodgers Paul. On January 27, 1962 in Smethport, she married Robert A. Bernhard, who died March 4, 1987.

Mary Lou had worked at Stackpole Corp. in Kane for many years and also at KOA Speer in Bradford. She was a member of the Lafayette Evangelical Church near Lewis Run.

Surviving are three sons, Rob (Mary) Bernhard and Randy Bernhard, both of Kane and Rich (Brenda) Bernhard of Marshburg; a daughter Molly Hartle of Westline; brothers Dick Paul of Kane, Butch Paul of Halsey and Jim Paul of Kane; and sisters Ann Trumbull of Lewis Run and Donna Nelson and Judy Somers, both of Kane. Nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death, besides her husband and parents, by brothers Robert, Bill and Merwin Paul, and a sister Bea Thorton.

Friends may call at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from noon until 1:00, at which time a service will be held there with the rev. Rich Glogau, co-pastor of the New Beginnings Assembly of God in East Kane, officiating. Interment will follow in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
