Obituary for Mary Lou Hien Mrs. Mary Lou Hien, 90, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. She was born in Crothersville on February 19, 1928 to the late Ray and Dorothy (Lewellyn) Waskom. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, April 14 at 11 am with Rev.

Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from 10 am until time of service.

An Eastern Star service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday at 7:30 pm. On March 3, 1950, she married Ronald Hien; he preceded her in death on September 25, 2012. She had worked for US Shoe Co. and Crothersville School Cafeteria.

She retired from Excello Shirt Company. She was a member of Reddington Christian Church and past president of the Missionary Society. She was a member of Brownstown Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 year and a past Matron of the Crothersville and Brownstown Chapters.

She was a former Grand Representative to the Georgia Grand Chapter. She was past Deputy of the District, past Grand officer of the Indiana Grand Chapter, and she served on several Grand Chapter Committees. She is survived by her son, Mark (Rhonda) Hien; step grandchildren, Michelle (Mark) Eggert and Nicholas Walden; step great-granddaughter, Ashley Eggert; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Billy Ray Waskom and Dale Waskom; and niece, Theresa Burton. Memorials may be written to Reddington Christian Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Online condolences may be given on the funeral home website at www.
