Mary Lou Meier December 24, 1934 – January 10, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mary Lou (Lee) Meier December 24, 1934 – January 10, 2019 Born to Harold J. & Ethel (Crothers) Lee on Christmas Eve 1934. She Graduated from DeKalb High School 1953. She attended NIU and graduated in 1959 with a Degree in Biology and Earth Sciences.

During summer break in 1957 & 1958 she worked in Yellowstone Park. She Married Ralph H. Meier March 10, 1963. They had three daughters; Nancy Ann, Peggy Lee and Judy May.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Bette (Lee, Pyfer) Valco, nephew; Jeffrey Pyfer and husband; Ralph. She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Davis of DeKalb, IL, Peggy (Hernandez) Meier of Cortland, IL, and Judy (Stuart) Lund of Clear Lake, MN. Seven Grandchildren; Josh & Will Davis, Yesenia, Marisol and Leonardo Hernandez, and Erica and Christopher Lund.

Four great-grandchildren; Audelia, Eden, Frieda, and Murdock (Yesenia Hernandez). Cremation was held by Finch Funeral Home in DeKalb and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
