Obituary for Mary Lou Smith (Wilson) Mrs. Mary Lou Smith, age 77 years, of Eldorado Springs, MO passed away Monday, August 27, 2018 in her home. Mary was born on February 13, 1941 in Kidder MO, a daughter of Emmett and Anna (McDaniel) Wilson. Mary owned and operated a Meat Locker in Plattsburg MO, and worked as a manager for Bobs IGA stores in Kansas City for many years.

After retiring Mary relocated with her husband Dick Smith, who survives the home. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping for Antiques and listening to her country music!

Survivors include: Teena McElroy of Nevada MO, Rod Whitney of North Carolina, Teresa Kreutzer and husband Joe of Phillipsburg KS, and Todd Whitney of Kansas City MO. 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great grandchildren, two brothers, Bob Wilson, Bill Wilson and his wife Penny; 2 sisters, Irma Fewins and husband Bennie, and Pat Gates and husband Steve. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Rocky Dean, and a sisters Doris Potts, Fern Orr, and brother Jack Wilson.

Funeral will be Friday August 31, 2018, 2 pm at Poland Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron MO. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery immediately following.
