Mary Lynn Okerlund Kaczka (71) passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Mary Lynn was born on November 30, 1947 in Clearfield, PA. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Marjorie (Gallup) Okerlund.

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Anthony Kaczka: brother, Kenneth Okerlund of Clearfield, PA: sister Susan Thorp (Ken): nephew Tracy (Vicky) Thorp of Gramptian, PA: niece Pam Tarachak and her children Harrison and Ava all of Pottstown, PA, extended family and friends. Mary Lynn graduated from Indiana University, PA and earned her masters from U. of D. She was a Math teacher and Department Chair for Caesar Rodney School District retiring in 1999. She was Past President of Piece Makers Quilt Guild, member of Helping Hands Quilt Guild, National Council of Mathematics Teachers and Farm Bureau Quilting Friends.

Mary Lynn volunteered at Interfaith Men’s Mission and Orchard Church Praise Team. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Sunday, March 24 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave. , Wyoming.

Service will be 11:00 am Monday, March 25 at Orchard Church, 39 N. Main St., Magnolia, Delaware. Burial will at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Orchard Church, P.O. Box 256, Magnolia, DE 19962 or 88.
