Troy – Robin Mary Margaret Ellen (MacGlarry) Belawski. Born December 18, 1926 in Albany. died July 12, 2018 after a long illness surrounded by her loving family.

She meets her parents in heaven, Theresa Bridget (Murphy) MacGlarry – Co. Down, Ireland and William Lynn MacGlarry- Port Glascow, Scotland as well as her son Michael, brother Billy and sister Tessie. She graduated from Catherdral Academy in 1945, married in 1945.

She was a hard worker throughout her life. From soda counter to drafting. She studied nights when her children were small taking courses at Albany Business College, SUNY and Russell Sage.

She worked over 20 Years at the Dept of Criminal Justice retiring in 1988 as an Identification Specialist 11 Supervisor. She enjoyed a long retirement marked by travel to England, Ireland and occasionally to the slots at Atlantic City and Saratoga. Known as Grandma Book, she loved to read and shared that love with her grandchildren.

She loved to cook and made many cookies ready for them as they came off the school bus. She loved gardening, crocheting and a good cup of coffee, Her kind, humorous heart will forever be missed. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice.

Friends may gather at Robin and Dave’s home Tuesday, 4:00 to 7:00 pm. at 6 Crestwood, Lane Troy, NY.
