Obituary for Mary Margaret Smith Mary Margaret Smith (nee Radomski), 77, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. She was born August 25, 1940 to Agnes (nee McNeal) and Joseph Radomski. She is the beloved wife of the late Phillip Smith, sister Cecilia Lambert and husband Jim, sister Helen Kalis and husband Jay, loving aunt of James Lambert and Kevin Kalis and wife Annie, devoted great aunt of Maggie, Molly and Ben Kalis.

Mary Margaret graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame High School (1958) and earned her Accounting B.A. at University of Baltimore. While a U of B student, she worked as a Bookkeeper at McCormick and Company. She began her 30-plus year career with the State of Maryland at the Department of Motor Vehicles, then joined the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and culminated her career at the Department of General Services.

Following her retirement, Mary Margaret enjoyed traveling, often visiting Massachusetts, Oregon, and California, with cruises to Puerto Rico and the Panama Canal. She was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Viewing will be held at Charles L. Stevens Funeral Home, 1501 E. Fort Ave.
