Mary Michelena “Mickey” Eschman, age 76 of Powell died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at St. Ann’s Hospital ER. She retired from Packard Electric-GM in Warren, Ohio after 28 ½ years. Mickey greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will always be remembered for her wonderful laugh which she blessed many with at those family gatherings. She is survived by: husband, Joe; sons, Joseph M. (Terri) Eschman & Steven V. (Melissa) Eschman. “Grandma Mickey”, as she was affectionately called, is also survived by six grandchildren, Rebecca (Justin) Pykare, Andrew (Lauren) Eschman, Daniel (Ali) Eschman, Alex Abood, Kalen Abood, and Marley Abood.

She also has 2 great-grandchildren, Maddox Pykare and Gianna Pykare as well as a sister, Patrice (Ron) Alvarez. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell in Powell. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Thursday, February 14, at St. Joan of Arc Church in Powell, where she and Joe have been active members.

A memorial Mass will also be celebrated in Warren on Saturday, February 16th at Blessed Sacrament Church. Words of remembrance will begin at 9:30 am with a memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The Expansion Fund at St. Joan of Arc Church in Powell Ohio or Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren.
