Graveside Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2019 Milan Cemetery, Milan, KS. She was born February 7, 1923 the daughter of Milton Henry Ross and Ethel Laura (Porter) Ross.

She graduated from Milan High School in 1940 before attending Sterling College and Wichita Business College. She taught in the language arts, speed writing and in court reporting for Wichita Business College for 20 years. She married Dale Eugene Alderdice on September 20, 1941.

He passed away on July 25, 1989. Also preceded by her parents; brother Ted Ross and sister Marjorie Hare. Survivors include: son Michael (Linda) Alderdice of Argonia, KS; son John (Natsue) Alderdice of Havelock, NC; daughter Janie (Gary) Trotter of Lake Kiowa, TX; sister Betty Hare of Conway Springs, KS; grandchildren: Mitch Trotter, Marni Hull and Mary J. Alderdice.

great-grandchildren: Zachary and Hayley Trotter; Riley, Piper and Wyatt Hull. A memorial has been established with United Methodist Youthville. Ebersole Mortuary Conway Springs.
