Mary Monroe January 9, 1925 – December 15, 2018 MONROE, Mary – Of Swartz Creek, age 93, died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence. Private funeral service was held 12 Noon Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Burial was in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Born: January 9, 1925 Death: December 15, 2018 Mary was born in Flint on January 9, 1925, the daughter of the late John and Maude (Clarice) Vohwinkle. She was a resident of Mundy Township for the past 55 years as of 2018. On October 26, 1943, she married Evan Monroe in Flint Surviving are sons, Michael, Dan and wife Patricia, Tim and wife Shirley; daughter, Cheryl and husband Gordon Ware; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; and her loyal and beloved cat, Mickey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Evan.
