Mary’s Obituary RUPP, Mary Ellen – Of Fenton, age 80, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Emery Anstett of the Rock Church officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on February 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Earl and Alma (Avenall) Brown. On August 25, 1968, she married Charles H. Rupp at Bethany Baptist Church.

Mary attended the Rock Church. Her hobbies included cooking, canning, sewing, reading, boating and quilting. Mary was a caring step-mother and grandma.

Surviving are husband, Charles H.; step-children, Randy Rupp, Brian Rupp, Teresa Wentworth; grandchildren, Alahsea, Zachary, Kara, Christian and April; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Chris, Alanah and Hallie. Special thank you to nephew, Mark; Cartel of Linden and Genesys. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Jennifer and David, 6 brothers and 1 sister.
