Mary Ruth Neal, age 59 of Lake City, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence. Mary was born on August 29, 1959 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late Amos and Ora Mae Perkins Phillips. Mary was a member of Fratersville Baptist Church.

She enjoyed being a CNA, playing music, including all instruments, spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and hunting and fishing. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother Jerry Phillips. Phillips of Lake City Tommy Phillips & Viola of Lake City Sisters Shirley Clowers of Lake City Betty Kennedy of Lake City Irene Harmon of Lake City Imogene Wilson of Lake City Pat Braden & Ray of Lake City Grandchildren Destiny and Landon Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, December 17, 2018 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

Funeral Service: 8:00 pm, Monday, December 17, 2018 at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City with Rev. Danny Orick and Rev. Terry Sweat officiating.

Family and Friends will meet at Hatmaker Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:15 am to go in procession to Leach Cemetery in Lake City for an 11:00 am interment.
