Obituary for Mary Butterweck Mary Theresa Butterweck, 93, of Fontana, passed away on June 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to James and Kathleen Shorten on October 8, 1924 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school, Mary worked for the Bell Telephone Company.

Mary met and married the love of her life, Donald Butterweck. They were blessed with 65 years of marriage. Mary is survived by her husband Donald; her children William, John and James, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a host of other family and friends. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation hours will be 4-8 pm, Monday, June 11, 2018 at Ingold Funeral and Cremation in Fontana.

A funeral service will be 12:30 pm, Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park in Bloomington.
