Mary Theresa Hile, 81, of East Brady died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Butler Memorial Hospital. Born November 27, 1936 in East Brady, she was the daughter of Merrell G. and Mary M. (Kelly) Hile. Mary T. was a 1954 graduate of East Brady High School, she worked for the local bank in East Brady as the head teller for 38 years.

She was a lifelong member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the former Ladies Guild, a money counter, cleaned and decorated the church for many years. She was also an instrumental part of the annual Turkey Bingo Raffle. Mary T. was a member of the American Legion Post #488 Ladies Auxiliary, she was also the current minority inspector for the East Brady Boro Election Board where she served for over 25 years.

She enjoyed going to lunch with friends and playing cards. Mary T. is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, James M. “Nat” Hile.

Friends of Mary T. Hile will be received from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, PA 16028 A Parish Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home at 5:30 PM Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Eusebius Church with Rev. William Kuba officiating.
