Mary V. Hanger, 94, traveled with her beloved angels to be with her husband Clyde and son Gary on May 9, 2018. Mary is survived by daughter, Dianna Hanger of Clearwater. Other relatives include grandsons Craig (Becca) and Chad Hanger, great grandsons, Deloss and Broderick Hanger, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Hanger all of Battle Creek, Michigan.

Mary was a member of Curlew United Methodist Church, Past Matron of Battle Creek Chapter #355 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Dunedin Chapter #132 OES. She volunteered at Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital. Shriners Hospital in Tampa, several nursing homes and community theaters in the area 25 years.

Mary was co-owner of Clyde Hanger Plumbing and Heating in Battle Creek until her husband retired and they moved to Florida in 1981. They were married for 48 years. Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, May 14 at the David C. Gross Funeral Home, 830 N. Belcher Road, Clearwater.

In lieu of flowers, Mary asks that donations be sent to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd. , Clearwater, FL 33760 ATTN: Yellow Team/ Teen Volunteers.
