OBITUARY Mary Walley December 5, 1930 – December 12, 2018 Mrs. Mary Eubanks Walley, 88, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Rocky Creek, Mississippi on December 5, 1930, Mary Vaughn Eubanks married Wallace Dyal Walley on March 16, 1947. Thirteen years later, they moved to Mobile with their two sons.

Mrs. Walley worked in retail sales in Mobile most of her life and retired from Wal-Mart in 2011. Mrs. Walley was an active member of Cypress Shores Baptist Church, participating in ministries including the Gleaners Sunday School Class, Red Hatters, Vacation Bible School, and providing meals for the sick or bereaved. She was known for her perseverance, strong work ethic, legendary cooking skills, and devoted, hands-on care of her family.

She will be remembered for her faith in Jesus Christ and steadfast love for her family. She is survived by her son, Dyal Wayne Walley, Donald Richard Walley, Sr. (Laura); three grandsons, Douglas Wayne Walley, Sr.,(Chrissy) Derrick Wayne Walley(Sarah), and Donald Richard Walley, Jr. and five great-grandchildren, Allison Walley, Courtney Walley, Caitlyn Walley, Douglas Walley, Jr., and Matthew Dyal Walley; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Wallace Dyal Walley, son, Donald Richard Walley, Sr.; parents, Clemer Lamar Eubanks and Eliza Byrd Eubanks; brothers, James Posey Eubanks, Donald Lamar Eubanks (Ruth), Ronald Levert Eubanks (Dannie), and Vernon Ray Eubanks(Peggy); and daughter-in-law, Gloria McInnis Walley.

Donations may be made to: Cypress Shores Baptist Church, 4327 Higgins Road, Mobile, AL 36619. Funeral services will be held at Cypress Shores Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, with visitation held immediately beforehand at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Reverends Scott Griffith and Dr. William Whitfield will officiate.
