Mary M. Beer, 79, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born Mary M. Walsh on November 24, 1939 in Acova, Pennsylvania and grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After marriage, Mary settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where she raised her family.

Before retirement, Mary worked for the Hazlet Police Department as a Dispatcher and later worked for Monmouth County Corrections as a Corrections Officer for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Mary (Reynolds) Walsh, her beloved first husband, Michael Gray, her loving second husband, Richard Beer, and her 3 dear sisters.

Mary is survived by her adoring children, Michael Gray and his wife Debbie, of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, Patricia Gray of Hazlet, New Jersey and Kelly Gray of Pennsylvania, along with her cherished grandchildren, Nicole, Melissa, Connor and Kyle. Mary will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. In respect of Mary’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
