Ms. Mary Willie Mae Garrett Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Mary Willie Mae Garrett, 93, who entered eternal rest, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Myrtle Grove Cemetery. Ms. Garrett is survived by her sister-in-law, Aline McNelty; nieces, Wille Mae Hunter (Goddaughter) of Dequincy, LA, Mary Adrian Tezeno of Opelousas, LA, Lisa Rollins of Beaumont, TX and Joe Boy of Kingsville, TX; nephews, Edward Hall, Christopher Hall and Calvin Finnels all of China, TX; great nieces, Marilyn McNelty Simien and Hope Hunter Leday (Patrick); great nephews, Terry Broussard (Carolyn) of Killeen, TX and David Broussard (Pamela) of Kentucky; a Goddaughter, Constance “Connie” Mouton of Denver, CO and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Garrett was preceded in death by her parents, Evelina Eaglin and Willie Garrett; sisters, Dorothy Garrett, Leona Hall, Beatrice Lavan and Mary Woods Chavis and a brother, Willie McNelty.
