Maryann “Mary”‘s Obituary Mary Pierce of Rush City died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the University of Minnesota Hospital-Fairview in Minneapolis at the age of 78. Maryann Ida Schultz was born January 16, 1941 to Anton and Clara (Reno) Schultz in Superior, Wisconsin. Mary is survived by her husband Jim Pierce of Rush City; children Melonie (Brian) Thymian of Brooklyn Center, Monica (Curtis) Richmond of Pierz, Melissa (Raymond) Anderson of Rush City, Michele (Scott) Almquist of Sioux Falls, SD, Joe (Marsha) Pierce of Clear Lake, Janell (Brad) Cully of Jordan; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Tony and Clara Schultz. Funeral services for Mary: 4 PM; Saturday, May 4, 2019 with a time for family and friends to gather one hour prior to the service all at the Olson Funeral Chapel in Rush City. The interment will take place at Green Lawn Cemetery in Verndale at a later date.

In Mary’s memory, memorials may be directed to: Hope Lodge American Cancer-2500 University Ave. S.E. Minneapolis, Mn 55414; or the Rush City Community Center. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the: Funeral and Cremation Service of Rush City ~ Olson Chapel www.
