LOASE, Mary, age 75, of Riverside, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018 after a courageous 6 ½ year battle with cancer and its aftermath. Mary was born to Donald and Opal (nee Jones) Shaw in Denison, IA on April 22, 1943. She graduated from Will Rogers High School (1962) in Tulsa, OK.

Mary was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She was an up-beat woman and proud Oklahoman who loved her family immensely. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Opal Shaw; step-mother, Mildred Shaw; sister, Shirley Shaw; brother, Donnie Shaw.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Donald H. Loase; children, Kathy (John) Williams, Donna (John) Lindahl; grandchildren, Gwen, Abby, Chris, Nathan, Skye, Kasey, Jacob; siblings, Donald Ray Funkhouser, Bob (Georgia) Funkhouser, Jim (Tillie) Funkhouser, Betty-Jean Poorboy, David (Leta) Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will greet friends on Thursday, October 18 from 4-5pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home immediately following visitation at 5pm.

Family will also greet friends following the service until 7pm. A special thank you to Dr. Gordon and the staff at Cancer Specialists of Dayton. In lieu of flowers please consider making memorial contributions to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 4865 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45440.
