Obituary of Mary Matoushek Mary Lou Collins Matoushek, 81 of Peckville died Wednesday evening at home . She was the widow of Joseph J. Matoushek who died on June 14, 2009. The couple had been married for 53 years at the time of his death.

Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gertrude McCloskey Collins. She was a graduate of Archbald High School and was employed for 24 years at the Fashion Bug and also WEA Manufacturing. She resided most of her life in Archbald except for the past 8 years in Peckville.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Peckville. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her grandchildren were the loves of her life.

She is survived by a son, Joseph Matoushek and wife Gina Marie, Kannapolis, NC, two daughters, Lynne Patuk and husband Michael, Jessup and Diane Booths and husband Joseph, Lake Ariel, a brother, William Collins and wife Cheryl, Polson, Montana, 4 sisters, Sharon Plevyak, Archbald, Kathleen Phillips and husband Garry, Carbondale, Daryle Collins, Olyphant and Margaret Michlowski and husband William, Peckville, a sister in law, Ann Eibach, Scranton, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held Saturday from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, 511 Church St. Jessup with mass at 9:30 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Willow Street, Peckville. Interment, Archbald Cemetery.
