Obituary of Mary Davis Mary Patricia “Pat” Davis, 98, of Tucson, AZ passed away peacefully in her care home Monday morning February 4, 2019. Born September 7, 1920 in Cedar Rapids Iowa to William and Alpha Hickey. She was hanging on like the strong women she was but age took over.

Survived by daughter Suzanne Dhaemers and son/daughter in law Mike and Ruth Davis, 5 grandchildren and their spouses, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Preceded by her husband Channnon Davis and two brother’s Thomas Hickey and John (Jack) Hickey. She was a homemaker and loved her family deeply.

She loved cooking and using old family recipes. She enjoyed having family over and hanging out with her friends. She was witty, funny and loved to laugh.

She was loved by many and passed peacefully. We will miss her every day. Special thanks to Desert Dreams Adult Care Home, Jose and Susan Topete and staff for taking care of her needs.

Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love.
