Obituary for Matilda E. O’Donnell Matilda E. O’Donnell, 102 , died peacefully on May 17th in Pennington, NJ. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Mercer County. She attended Rider University and worked for the State of New Jersey, retiring from the Department of Motor Vehicles in 1976.

She was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church and the Gold Star Wives of America. Daughter of the late Louis and Esther Kish: wife of the late Lt. Joseph P. O’Donnell; sister of the late Karl Kish, and Louis Kish.

She is survived by her 101 year old sister Madeline Leaming; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Deborah O’Donnell of Chapel Hill, NC; two granddaughters and their spouses, Karen and Aaron Saiewitz of Henderson, NV, and Susan and Jeremy Beardsley of Readington, NJ: five great-grandchildren, Matthew Saiewitz, Sarah Saiewitz, Micaela Beardsley, Emily Beardsley, and Ryan Beardsley and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration in her honor will take place on June 18th at 11:00am at Pennington Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Pennington with calling hours starting at 10:00am. Funeral under the direction of Murphy’s Funeral Home, Ewing, NJ.
