Matthew Edward Johnson, 28, of Rockport, Kentucky passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born February 11, 1991 in Bowling Green to Dennis Johnson and Ellen Johnson. Matthew attended Elkton Road Church and was employed by Burger King.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Megan Johnson of Rockport; two sons, Skyler and Able Johnson of Rockport; two daughters, Kylie Beckner of Park City, Kentucky and Adaline Johnson of Rockport; father, Dennis Johnson of Louisville; mother, Ellen Johnson of Ohio County; two brothers, Bruce Embry (Kim Wilson) of Rockport and Eric Embry; one sister, Kimberly Embry (Trinity Gipe) of Ohio County and several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. William L. Danks has been entrusted cremation arrangements.
