Obituary for Matthew Adcock Matthew Wayne Adcock, age 50, of 1010 Ingalls Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at The Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Low Moor. Matt was born August 19, 1967 in Clifton Forge to Brenda Hale Adcock and the late Lawrence Melvin Adcock. He was a Legacy Millwright for Westrock of Covington.
He was a member of the Clifton Forge Masonic Lodge # 166 A. F. & A. M., the Kazim Temple of Roanoke, the Clifton Forge Shrine Club, and the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge # 1065 B.P.O.E. Matt was an avid University of Virginia sports fan, and loved golfing, spending time outdoors, coaching baseball. He especially loved his family and was well loved in return.
Matt is survived by his wife, Suzanne Totten Adcock and his three children, Tyler Adcock, Carter Adcock, and Braden Adcock, all of Clifton Forge; his mother, Brenda Hale Adcock of Eagle Rock; a brother, Andrew Adcock of Clifton Forge; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rita and Gail Totten of Clifton Forge; three nephews, Drew Adcock, Ryan Adcock, and Ben Adcock; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, including his brothers in the Shrine. Friends will gather on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Clifton Forge Shrine Club. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 3:00 PM by members of the Clifton Forge Masonic Lodge # 166 A. F. & A. M. with Mr. Glenn Jones officiating.
