Maurice Thomas “Tom” Beauchesne, 57, of Newark passed away on February 22, 2019 at the Christiana Hospital. Tom had been a salesperson in New Castle County for several years and had worked in the food service industry. He had a genuine artistic touch and enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars.

He was a 1980 graduate of Christiana High School. Tom is survived by his wife Colleen (Dugent) Beauchesne; two sons, Danton T. Beauchesne of New Castle and Mark Clayton Beauchesne of Wilmington; his mother, Lorraine Beauchesne of Bear; his sister, Susan M. Brooks and her husband Robert J. Brooks of Ocean View, NJ; the mother of his children, Patti Beauchesne; his aunts and uncles: Claudette Champagne of Lewiston, Maine, Donald Beauchesne, Theresa Bolduc of Worcester, MA; four nieces: Brittany Cheseroni, Alexis Cheseroni, Kelsey Brooks and Taylor Brooks; several cousins: Christie Ecceles, Ricky King, Pamela Vezina-Taylor and Laurie Ann Vezina Desmarais; his great niece Gianna Cheseroni and his great nephew Tucker Payne. Tom is also survived by his pet dog Bullet and his cats Daisy and Oliver.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Maurice S. Beauchesne and by his sister, Debra Ann Beauchesne. A Celebration of Life will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at New Life Alliance Church, 653 E. Chestnut Hill Road, Newark, DE 19713 where friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. Saturday. Mr. Grove Armstrong will be officiating.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses. Online condolences may be made via www.
