OBITUARY Mavis Rita Cannon December 30, 1920 – July 22, 2018 Mavis D. Cannon a native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on July 22, 2018 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee G. Cannon; son, Lee G. Cannon Jr; great granddaughter, Kayla L. Grenfell; and daughter in law, Emily Cannon. She is survived by her children Cheryl C. Brown, Paul Cannon, Mary (Glen) Evans, and Betty Goff.

She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and Nicki and D’ette for the loving care they showed for Mrs. Cannon. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Greenoaks Memorial Park’s Garden of Serenity located at 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, La, 70815.
