Maxine Novak, a lifetime resident of Wabash, passed away on Wednesday, Feb 27, 2019 at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation. She was born on April 26, 1923 to Jake and Ada (Burnworth) Kerr. She married Joseph W. Elliott in 1939; he passed away in 1970.

Then she married Leonard Novak; he also preceeded her in death. Maxine retired from Vernon Manor Health Care. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge 549 Golden Eagle and of the American Legion Post 15 Auxillary in Wabash, Indiana.

Maxine is survived by her son, Jerry (Sandy) Elliott of Wabash, Indiana; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents, 1 son; Kenneth Elliott, 1 brother and 2 sisters. There will be no services.
