OBITUARY Melinda Ann Holmes “Mindy” July 26, 1971 – December 14, 2018 On Friday, December 14th, 2018, Mindy passed away peacefully in Baltimore, MD. She was the beloved mother of Amanda Fellers and her fiancé, Nancy Diaz, Kristen Fellers and her fiancé, Josh Hall, Mary Beth Fellers and Cassidy McMenamin and her husband, Matthew; cherished “MomMom” of Kaylee, Jordan, Serenity, Ayden, Jackson and Isabella; dear daughter of Mary Carmichael and her husband, Paul, and the late Preston “Peewee” Holmes; loving sister of Robert Holmes and his wife, Ann, Brian Holmes and Candice Holmes and her wife, Neva FinGado; adored fiancé of Palmer “PJ” Jett and his children, who adopted Mindy as their “Step-Mom and Step-MomMom”, Dustin and Shannon Jett and their children, Faith, Dustin and Payton, Ryan Jett and his fiance’, Angelica Heinig, Benjamin and Arlin Jett and their children, Graham and Everly, and Bradley Jett and his daughter, Skyla. Mindy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mindy grew up in Savage, MD and enjoyed hanging down at the Hall. She worked as a bus attendant in Howard County for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She was always willing to help others in need and will be greatly missed by those that knew her.
