83, of Cranston passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. She was the wife of the late Edward J. “Ted” DeGuilio. Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Vernon) Atkinson.

Meredith was employed by the Cranston School Department for many years until her retirement. She was a former parishioner of St. Brigid’s Church, Johnston. She is survived by her loving children; Mary Jane Volino of Cranston, Mark A. DeGuilio and his wife Angela of Kildare, Ireland and Leigh Ann Spear and her husband John of West Granby, CT; she was the cherished grandmother of six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston at 11am. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

VISITING HOURS Saturday morning 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
