Merritt’s Obituary Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, age 66 years. Survived by his loving wife Pam (nee Schroeder) of 25 years. Preceded in death by his parents Merritt and Donna Rae Lyon.

Further survived by his siblings of Jori Lyon, Melanie (John) Gee, Todd Lyon, Brigitte (Mike) Schimming, Natalie (Justin) Battershield, Rachel (Edward) Iacono, and Daniel (Raime) Lyon. Brother-in-law to Tom (Margie) Schroeder, Debbie (Lloyd) Weber and Paul (Kathy) Schroeder. Son-in-law to Carolyn (the late Robert) Schroeder.

Also survived by other relatives and friends. Merritt worked Xylem Sanitaire Products for 18 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, wood working, and retracing his European ancestry.

Merritt especially loved spending time with his Airedale Terriers. He will be missed. Visitation will be held at CHRIST ALONE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH (247 S. Main St, Thiensville, WI 53092) on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 4pm – 6pm with Services at 6:00pm.

Private burial at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Christ Alone Evangelical Lutheran Church or Airedale Terrier Rescue and Adoption. www.
