Obituary for Michael Avery Gallimore MICHAEL AVERY GALLIMORE, 62, of Christiansburg was born January 4, 1956 and passed away December 27, 2018. He attended Prices Fork United Methodist Church and played trumpet at Blacksburg High School. He was an avid Virginia Tech Hokie and Dallas Cowboys fan.

He enjoyed playing table tennis at Squires at Virginia Tech. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edsel & June Gallimore. He is survived by his brother, Kevin Gallimore; sisters, Deborah Gallimore and Patricia Gallimore; special uncle, Ray Gallimore “Cappy” and wife, Marivic; special friend, Jeff Washenberger; many aunts, uncles cousins, friends and four legged companions.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 2 at 3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Michael Avery Gallimore please visit our Sympathy Store.
