OBITUARY Michael “Buffy” S. Smith July 5, 1972 – December 5, 2018 Michael “Buffy” Smith, 46, Network Engineer, passed away on December 5, 2018. He was born in Wichita, KS to Charles Edward and Shirley Mae (Kirk) Smith on July 5, 1972. Preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Smith.

Survived by his wife, Shekima Smith; mother, Shirley Brown and step-father, Alfred R. Brown, all of Wichita; sons, Cortney Smith of Wichita, Myles Smith of San Diego, CA. , Elias Powell; daughter, Tierra Powell, both of Wichita; brother, Carlos (Jodi) Smith of Wichita, Alfred Brown, Jr., of CA; sisters, Darla (Leon) Mitchell, Toni Smith, Patience Smith, Tiffany (Tim) Cargill, all of Wichita; Jade Brown of SD. Visitation: 9-10 a.m. Friday, December 14; Service: 10 a.m. Friday, December 14, both at Hillside Funeral Home West.

Burial to follow at Kechi Township Cemetery.
