Beloved husband, cherished brother, devoted uncle and friend to many, Michael Carl Maniscalco, age 65, passed away at his home in Hallsville, on Monday, April 27, 2019. He was born on April 2, 1954 in Shreveport, LA to Johnny and Martha Ann (Tilley) Maniscalco. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Martha Maniscalco and two brothers, Ricky Maniscalco and Gary Maniscalco.

He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Janie Honeycutt; his sister, Judy Hyde and her husband, Bill-Bo of Stonewall, LA; his brother, Wayne Maniscalco of Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Scott Phillips, Shelly Hyde, Ricky Maniscalco; special cousin, J. C. and JanicePriest; dear and close friends, Ernest and Tina Palmasino, Patti Goetz and David Lecky; his mother-in-law, Jean Williamson; and many other family members and friends who were blessed by his life. Michael graduated from Captain Shreve High School and went on to own and operate several restaurants including Mike’s Italian Restaurant in Shreveport, LA; Mike’s Pizza in Vivian, LA and worked for Global Marine (off Shore) as their chef. He loved to cook, fish and was known for his artistic talent.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at Meadowbrook Funeral Home. On-line condolences may be offered at www.
