Obituary for Michael D. Kavanaugh Michael D. Kavanaugh, age 65, of Smiths Creek, passed away September 11, 2018. He was born on April 29, 1953 in Highland Park to the late Thomas and Gladys Kavanaugh. He enjoyed many things but most of all his time spent with his family at home and up north.

He is survived by his wife; Martha Radtke, his son; Matthew ( Teresa) Kavanaugh, and grandchildren; Declan and Lincoln Kavanaugh and step-daughter; Jacqueline Zimmer. He is also survived by his brother; Thomas (Cathy) Kavanaugh, his sister; Kathryn (Steve) Ledtke. He was preceded in death by his son; Steven Kavanaugh.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15 at Faith Lutheran Church, Port Huron. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair and Saturday at church from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Memorials are suggested to Haiti Lutheran Mission Society.
