Mr. Michael Dean Preston, age 60 of Buchanan passed away Monday, May 6, 2019. Mr. Preston was born February 9, 1959 in Pekin, Illinois, son of the late Marion Frances Preston and the late Virginia Louise Harms Preston. He attended Illinois College, loved to fish and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Faulk Preston of Buchanan; two daughters, Michelle Pope of Rockmart and Tanya Goss and her husband Michael of Silver Creek; son, Shawn Preston and his wife Rebe of Woodstock; sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Preston will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Michael Jack Goss officiating.
