Obituary for Michael Dennis Drake Michael Dennis Drake, age 70, of Eastlake, passed away on December 31, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, OH on December 30, 1948 to the late Charles and Julia Drake. Michael was a proud US Navy Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.

He retired from LTV, formerly Republic Steel, after 33 years of employment. Michael’s hobbies included listening to music and watching Cleveland Sports, but most recently he enjoyed spending time working in the yard. He believed family was very important and absolutely loved every minute he got to spend with his grandkids.

Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Michael was the beloved husband of Pat Drake (nee Shelby) for 44 years; the loving father of Kristopher, Jacob, and the late Matthew D. Drake; a proud grandfather of Matthew R., London, and Hanna; a cherished brother of Pat (Rich, deceased) Lawton, Rich (Pat, deceased) Drake, and Gene (Carolyn, deceased) Drake; and an uncle to many more. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.
