Michael G. McKelvy, 69, of New Carlisle, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019. He was born March 2, 1949 in Dayton, the son of the late Paul and Minnie McKelvy. Mike was a retiree of GM, Harrison Division in Moraine and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Indian Lake Lodge 1533.

He is survived by his children Michael D. (Joyce) McKelvy, Christina M. (Nathan) Richmond and Sean E. (Jennifer) McKelvy; brothers John McKelvy and Robert (Sandy) McKelvy; sisters Carol (Don) Sands, Cathy (Glenn) Lewis, Peggy (Jerry) Grant, Phyllis (Terry) Lanier and Mary (Joe) McDowell; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to honor Mike will be Thursday at 1:30 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12:30 PM. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.
