Obituary for Mr. Michael Gordon Breuer Michael Gordon Breuer Age 48, of Elk River passed away Friday October 12, 2018 surrounded by his son Zachary, daughter Anna, parents Lester J. and Susan F. Breuer, former spouse of 17 years Nichole K. Breuer, his uncle Gordon F. (Terrie) Breuer and a group of close friends. After his highschool years at Benilde St. Margaret’s, he went to Hennepin Technical College to enable him to turn his passion with cooking into a cooking career which he later chose to leave to attend Dunwoody Institute to pursue a career as an auto mechanic. He left this career to run his own roll off business until his heart condition required he receive a LVAD heart pump that ended his working career.

When not working he spent time at the family cabin with his family including their dog Libby. The cabin and our many Minnesota lakes allowed him to enjoy his love of bass fishing in his ranger boat with family or friends. Outside of fishing he enjoyed playing pool at home and in leagues, using season tickets at Viking games, attending Wild games, watching auto racing and working on his collections.

After a struggle of 13 years with his heart condition he has passed. A gathering of family and friends memorial is planned. The Memorial Service will be at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. Michael’s family wishes to thank the many caring staff of Abbott Northwestern Heart Hospital.
