Obituary for Michael J. O’Keefe Michael J. O’Keefe passed away in peace, Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the age of 89, in Brooklyn, NY. Michael is survived by his son, Michael R. O’Keefe. Michael J. O’Keefe was born on October 12, 1929.

Michael served in the United States Army from 1951 – 1957 and was a soldier in the Korean War. He went on to marry his beloved wife, Margaret C. O’Donnell on July 2, 1966, and was married 48 years when she passed away in July 2014. Michael worked for Verizon as a technician and was also a self-taught musician who loved playing the harmonica, accordion and various flutes and slide whistles.

Michael and his wife loved spending time with the Irish Arts Center in New York and were loved by so many. He was a devoted husband and father who had many friends and will be missed dearly.
