Frederick, 57, passed away on December 15, 2018 at Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield, Michigan. Michael lived at the Lakeshore Home in Wakefield, Michigan. He is survived by his parents, Joseph P. Frederick and Christine (Rigoni) Frederick of Rockford, Ill; one brother, Thomas J. Frederick of Machesney Park, Ill; one sister, Jeanean C. (Frederick) Johnson, a brother-in-law, Gregory Johnson of Byron, Ill and three nephews, Andrew M. Johnson, Michael T. Frederick and Benjamin J. Frederick.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joseph F. Frederick and Jennie (Krizmanich) Frederick and maternal grandparents, Joseph P. “Bucko” Rigoni and Catherine M. (Guisto) Rigoni. A private funeral service will be taking place in Ironwood, Michigan. McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home, Ironwood, is assisting the family.
