Saliski, 75 of Monroe Township died Thursday May 23rd at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born and raised in Bayonne, Mr. Saliski lived there until moved to Monroe Township in 1990. He was employed for 45 years for the Owens-Illinois Company of Edison which later became Graham Plastics, retiring in 2008 as chief maintenance mechanic.

He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2180, Jamesburg. Mr. Saliski was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and salt water fishing and he loved to cook. He was predeceased by his son Michael D. Saliski in 2004, his two brothers William and Joseph and his sister Delores Lacinak.

Surviving are his wife of 28 years Jane Pennyfeather Saliski, his son Gregory of Monroe Township, his stepson Robert Clark of Denver, NC, his three sisters Barbara Clarkin-Kosiorek and Patricai Byers, both of Bayonne, NJ and Loretta Gallagher of Fayetteville, NC and his three grandchildren Francesca and Gabriella Dela Fave Saliski and Michael Clark. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday May 30th at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be Wednesday 4-8 p.m. and Thursday 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Mr. Saliski may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
