Michael L. Sanderfer of Norman, Oklahoma and formerly of Grand Blanc, MI died April 24, 2019 at the age of 56 years old after his 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Michael was born Feb 13th 1963 to Edward Austin and Mary LaVenia (Harris) Sanderfer. Michael grew up and attended Gran Blanc High School of Grand Blanc, Michigan.

On September 15, 1990, Michael married the love of his life JoAnn Lynn Delbridge in Flint, Michigan where they spent most of their marriage raising their son. Mike worked for Sports Creek Raceway, King Par Golf Course, Flint Packaging, and Flint Airport before moving to Norman where he spent the remainder of his life working for Hitachi Computers. Mike was a family man he could spend hours talking and playing cards which included spades and Euchre.

Most importantly he loved sports and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Mike loved many things including his love for Farmville of his phone to enjoying family gatherings to going to the cabin and enjoying playing pool, corn hole toss and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Michael loved being around people he had many friends and spent time talking to everyone whether they were young, old, or if he knew them or didn’t.

He was an easy man, he lived life to the fullest and made everyone around him laugh and feel joy. He will be truly missed most by those who survived him. Mr. Sanderfer is survived by: Wife: JoAnn Lynn Sanderfer Son: Tyler Sanderfer of Norman, Oklahoma Mother: Mary Sanderfer of Grand Blanc, Michigan Brother: Eddie Sanderfer of Houston, Texas Sister: Marilyn Jeffries of Flint, Michigan Beloved dogs: Abby, Mini, Raven Sister in law’s: Cindy Delbridge of Norman, Ok, Pamela Delbridge of Norman, Ok and Terri (Michael) Clark of Swartz Creek, MI And many Nephews, Nieces and 2 great nieces whom he loved very much.

Mr. Sanderfer was preceded in death by: His father: Edward Sanderfer, father in law Robert Delbridge, mother in law Seiglinde Delbridge and brother in law Randy J Delbridge. Those inquiring to make contributions the family ask that you contribute to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in honor of Michael L Sanderfer. Memorial services are scheduled for a viewing from 11:00am – 12:30pm and service at 1:00 pm on Saturday the 4th of May 2019 at the Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley.
