Michael Leo Galbraith, 70, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 17, 1949 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Albert (Mary) Galbraith and the late Evelyn (nee Muth) (Bud) Fink. Michael proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged after 21 years of dedicated service.

He was employed as a mail carrier for the United States Post Office. Michael belonged to the VFW, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and enjoyed reading, watching war shows, and loved to cook, especially for the VFW. Michael is survived by children, Michael (Anissa) Galbraith, Justin Galbraith, April Galbraith and Amy Galbraith; grandchildren, Dustin, Austin, Megan, Owen, Preston and Matthew; a great-grandson, Antonio; brother James (Tina) Galbraith; a half-brother, Alan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son Matthew Galbraith and a brother, Clifford “Skip” Galbraith. All services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Michael R. Goodlander of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME.
