A celebration of life for Michael “Big Mike” M. Bailey of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 will be held Saturday, January 12th, 11:00 a.m. at Victory AME Church, 5202 S. 86th Street, Pastor Michael Price, officiating. The interment will be held in Ty Ty, Georgia. Michael was born March 27, 1973 in Tifton, Georgia.

He enjoyed spending time with family, riding motorcycles and traveling. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary A. Bailey and grandparents. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his fiancé, Lakisha Tolbert; children, Denevon M. Bailey, Khija J. Bailey, MyKaija Bailey, MyKira Bailey, MyKia Bailey and Maiya Bailey; grandchildren, Elijah A. Bailey and Kaiden A. Bailey; father, Edward Bailey, Jr. and Samuel G. Brown; brothers, Darrell Bruce (Nicole) of Tampa, Florida and Sameeh Brown of Ashburn, Georgia; sisters, Chaundra Hamilton of Brooklyn, New York, Shonda Bailey of Tampa, Florida and Afra Brown of Altana, Georgia; aunts, Mamie Atwater and Ceola Bates; uncles, Gregory Bruce; special cousins, Jamila Alford and Tonya Burr; special friends, James “Amp” Lawrence and Cosha Johnson; godmother, Ernestine Pringley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and special friends that will miss him.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
